The period required for revolutions to move from the stage of demolishing a corrupt political system to the stage of establishing a rational political system is what gives a strong indication of the revolution's ability to build societies on new foundations of democracy, social justice, transparency, equal opportunities and abundant production, to the desired welfare state. The Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights believes that the stage after the success of the revolution and the stepping down of former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak from power and entrusting the administration of Egypt's affairs to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces requires us all to play a different and complementary role to what most of the Egyptian sects did during the period extending January 25 to February 11, 2011. The required role does not require us to extend the state of peaceful protest and protest to the extent that it can lose its value and limit the degree of its influence. Rather, it requires moving to the stage of conscious and responsible collective action in order to build the new system that we seek. All parties and spectrums Those who participated in the noble Egyptian revolution are now required to participate in a new revolution whose place is not in Tahrir Square, but whose place is every spot on the land of this homeland, and more specifically, Maat Foundation believes that the requirements of the stage require the following: - 1- Work to restore normal life To the Egyptian street and to give opportunities to the responsible authorities during the transitional period in order to take urgent procedural steps to ensure the revitalization of the vital economic sectors, especially the tourism sector, which provides more than 2 million job opportunities, such as What these measures should achieve a speedy stabilization of the investments that exist on the land of Egypt, which absorb millions of other workers. 2- Collective action in order to spread awareness of the rights and duties that must be included in the constitution, and to stimulate all sectors of society for positive and effective participation in drafting the constitutional framework and complementary legislation, and most importantly pushing citizens to participate in choosing their representatives through the elections that will take place at the end of the transitional phase Whether in the position of President of the Republic or to occupy the seats of Parliament, which is what Maat is currently working on re-planning its agenda of activities during 2011 to agree with it and play a role in this process. 3- The incidents of corruption, profiteering and abuse of power of senior officials in the former regime, which emerged during the past days, require the responsible authorities, especially the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces and the Attorney General, to form an independent committee headed by a leadership such as Counselor Jawdat Al-Malat, to devote himself to the fact-finding process, collecting documents and issuing reports And suggesting the required procedures to the Public Prosecution office, and the benefit of this will help groups and other bodies in society to devote themselves to the construction process and not to be completely preoccupied with prosecuting the corrupt. Finally, Maat Foundation calls on all Egyptian citizens who have factional demands - whose legitimacy is indisputable - and whose expressions have increased in demonstrations, protests, sit-ins, and strikes over the past few days, to work to organize themselves in a way that does not disrupt the progress of work during the current stage so that it takes over the task of negotiating with the authorities A committee that is concerned with meeting their demands is chosen from among them, and government agencies must show complete seriousness in dealing with these committees, and the discussions between the two sides should be fully transparent and adhere to reasonable timetables to meet the demands
