Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights held a training workshop on “Citizen Journalism and How to Verify Information” with the participation of journalists and media professionals from the Arab region.

The training aims to enhance the capabilities of journalists using critical thinking in fact-checking and uncovering facts to confront misinformation by relying on tools and methods that help them verify information and confirm it before publishing it. The training was attended by Dr. Miral Sabry, Director of the Media Program at the University of East London (UEL) and Marina Sami, Director of the Public Relations and Media Unit at Maat Foundation.
