The joint international local mission continued to follow the procedures of the electoral process in all its details in 164 electoral districts in 17 Egyptian governorates, and within the framework of its daily follow-up, the mission followed up with the announcement of the Supreme Elections Commission to start training for members of the judicial bodies on the procedures for supervising the electoral process, such as voting, sorting, rights and duties of all parties The electoral process.
Ayman Aqil, head of Maat Foundation and the official spokesperson for the mission stated that the work team monitored the continuation of the activities of the state apparatus towards propaganda violations and breaches of laws, as the local unit of Samalout Center and City removed the electoral propaganda for candidates who violated the Minya Governor's decision regarding the payment of 5,000 pounds to each candidate to secure removal Propaganda after the poll.
On the other hand, the mission followed the activities of the candidates in the various departments in which it carried out monitoring and follow-up operations, as the mission observed that the candidate Abdul Aziz Hammouda, from the Bella and Hamoul constituency in Kafr El-Sheikh, attended one of the football league matches that he organized between the Eastern Kafir and Youth Al-Tarazi teams, and the awarding of players T-shirts with the candidate's name printed on them, and they wore them
The mission in Dakahlia also followed up with the candidate, Jamal Abd al-Zahir, the symbol of the “pen,” nominated for the individual seats of the Future of the Nation Party in Talkha and Nara district, to organize a march inside the village of Kafr al-Asali, calling on the village's families to vote for him.
In Giza, the mission followed up with candidate Mohamed Helmy El-Banna, for the Department of Warraq and Osim, to organize a football tournament in one of the private stadiums in Oseem, then distributed sums of money to the participants in the tournament.
In Cairo, the mission observed that a newspaper called the Masses of Helwan, in its issue dated mid-September, published a picture of the candidate Ismail Nasreddin from the Heloun district, in which he distributed gifts to the outstanding students in a large ceremony organized at his expense, which is a violation of the election campaign dates announced by the Supreme Elections Committee.
In Al-Sharqiyah, the mission followed up with the candidate, Brigadier Sami Al-Alfi, organizing a sports tournament for young people on the stadium of the village of Tal Rak in the district of Saqr Sons.
