With the passage of the twelfth year, Maat still condemns the recurring conflicts in the Syrian Arab Republic, and the restrictions imposed on the state in the form of sanctions and coercive unilateral measures that hinder comprehensive development efforts, as it participated with an oral statement in the interactive dialogue with the Independent International Commission of Inquiry regarding the Syrian Arab Republic during the 54th session of the Human Rights Council, through which it called for work to abolish sanctions and coercive unilateral measures and to provide the necessary aid, grants and financial support to support reconstruction and recovery efforts.
