During the activities of the 55th session of the Human Rights Council, Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights participated with an oral statement in the interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan, where it condemned Taliban’s attempts to monopolize power, represented by cutting off communication with United Nations agencies, and the restrictions imposed on the movement of women and girls, as well as campaigns against journalists and human rights defenders.
