With great and surprise Maat Foundation for Peace and Development and Human Rights received a press reports published by Al Masry Al Youm online gate on Saturday, April 30, 2011 to the editor Mohamed Azouz under the title " For the first time since 30 years: workers celebrate their festivals without Mubarak's speech" and Al Wafd online gate on the same day to the editor Khalid Hussein, under the title " Photo for Abbas spoil the Workers Day ".
The published report contained Statements of libel and defamation and unjustified lie on Maat on the words of Mr. Ismail Fahmy, Acting Chairman of the Egyptian Trade Union Federation.
The editor reported that:
- Ismail Fahmy accused during a press conference was held on 30th April, Mr. Kamal Abbas of being involved in relations with Israelis and pointed to the relationship between Egyptian independent trade Union with Israeli Maat Center and said that Mr. Kamal Abu Eita official of independent Egyptian Federation getting Certificate of Merit from Mr.George Meany President of American workers Federation , which has a strong ties with the Union of Workers of Israel.

- Maat Foundation is an Egyptian human rights organization is subjected to Ministry of Social Solidarity in Egypt since the year 2008.It was known from the first day of its establishment any kind of relations with Israeli entities or organizations, but it has a clear position against the repressive practices and policies of Israeli against Arab people in Palestine.
