Within the context of Maat association’s interest in the migration and Refugee crisis, and working to support and empower refugees and migrants within their hosting communities. Maat for peace, development and human rights held a training workshop of “Awareness and Eempowering” initiative, Which Maat launched at the beginning of the year with the aim of raising the capabilities and empowering the refugees in Egypt.

The workshop targeted a group of Sudanese migrants and refugees, who were trained to identify societal problems and come up with an idea for an initiative to solve this problem, also the workshop included a set of activities that aimed to test the extent to which participants benefited through a simulation model of a business incubator for young initiatives.
