Egypt is second in Africa in the Economic Integration Index

Egypt ranked second in Africa in the infrastructure integration index, after South Africa, and third in the economic integration index after Morocco and Mauritius.

In the infrastructure index, # Egypt scored a total of 0.585, and in the economic integration index it scored 0.422.

The index aims to assess countries' efforts in African integration among the eight countries of the eight recognized economic blocs of #-AU.

Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights believes that this is a positive step towards achieving the ninth goal of #_Sustainable Development 2030. About building infrastructure that is resilient, reliable and sustainable.

This is also considered an achievement of the seventeenth goal of the sustainable development goals related to strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development.

The Maat Foundation encourages the Egyptian government to expand the work under Goal 9 towards developing regional and cross-border infrastructure. And the promotion of Goal 17 in order to achieve a sustainable partnership between the countries of Africa's regional neighborhood.
