The human rights situation in the Arab region still needs tremendous efforts to reform it 

The Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights has followed up on the statement of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, which he delivered in this room yesterday, which is based on the annual report submitted to the Council. With the Maat Foundation’s appreciation of the efforts of the High Commissioner related to monitoring the human rights situation in the world, we would like to emphasize 

The statements and reports of the High Commissioner take a remarkable political approach and confuse the jurist and the politician, and adopt positions that seem close to certain parties in the political game in some countries at the expense of others. 

The information provided by the High Commissioner tends to be very general and the lack of concrete evidence that can be relied upon in most cases.
