The Secretary-General presented his report on Myanmar at the 49th session of the Human Rights Council. Maat made recommendations, most notably calling on the Myanmar authorities to cooperate with the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar and allow him unrestricted access to gather information and evidence to improve conditions in Myanmar.
