Maat releases a new issue of citizen's voice e-magazine Corruption in the water sector and the laws that Are not yet issued are the most important topics

In the early days for the month of Ramadan, Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights released a new issue of citizen's voice e-magazine addressing the many issues and problems that concern the local Egyptian citizen. The magazine is published within the framework of the "citizen's voice 2" which is implemented by Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights in cooperation with the Foundation for the future. This project seeks to promote a culture of decentralization and local governance and improved access to economic and social rights. The magazine is mainly focusing on monitoring the standard of public services, economic and social rights, and displaying the problems, the concerns and the aspirations of local citizens. The new issue of the of citizen's voice magazine included a range of the most outstanding issues mostly " corruption of local authority up to the drinking water", "file of child labor and the presence of 2.8 million children who are working for more than 9 hours a day." Also, the new issue included a monitoring of dissolved Parliament expenditures as the Parliament has spent 60 million pounds in 140 days of 95 sessions, 920 meetings, and the outcome is 10 laws. The other topics included in the issue is "doctors’ cadre, nursing staff and health insurance, bills of law that have not issued after the dissolution of parliament, doctors addressing the military to approve the cadre for not waiting until the new parliament, and nursing looking for relievers until the next parliament to pass its own cadre.
