Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights held a youth training workshop at Hehia City in Sharqia on "Tools and Skills for voters awareness. This comes within the framework of the project "Protecting your Vote of Invalidity" executed by the Foundation with the support of International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). The training depends on preparing youth cadres for the election awareness in the rural areas that suffer from shortage of electoral awareness because it is far from the capital. The project aims at Sharqia and Menofia Governorates and going to people's public for their awareness of the new electoral system and the way of voting and cases of invalidity to avoid them. In response of youth after holding the training workshops, they distributed electoral awareness posters and the guide book to citizens which illustrates how to vote. The participants emphasized on the national and patriotic role and their neutrality in dealing with citizens in their areas and commitment with neutrality standards and making awareness for all citizens regardless of their political trends. The participant youth emphasized on the importance of holding tours and youth awareness campaigns in youth centers, coffees and different gathering pools. They also confirm on neutrality of awareness.
