In the training course for the coordinators of the Youth Parliament in the Republic, the relative list is the best choice

The proportional list system is the best electoral system to ensure the representation of all political parties and currents present in the Egyptian political arena. This is what the youth of the coordinators of the Republic Youth Parliament decided on the third training day, Monday, June 27, 2011 in the training course held by Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights entitled “Political awareness” And training skills “in cooperation with the National Youth Council and the German Hans Seidel Foundation at the headquarters of the Leadership Development Center on the island. The training day covered elections, their definition, types of electoral systems, stages of the electoral process, election oversight, the role of observers, the right to political participation in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as well as the International Bill of Human Rights. At the end of the training day, Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which was choosing the proportional list system so that the electoral system in force in Egypt would be in the next stage, as well as activating civil society monitoring of elections and facilitating their work by electoral institutions and bodies.
