Maat Foundation participated in the general discussion under the third item on the agenda of the 55th session of the Human Rights Council, concerned with the promotion and protection of human rights, where it addressed the obstacles and difficulties that obstruct the work of journalists due to the exercise of their peaceful work, especially in the Gaza Strip. Accordingly, Maat recommended adherence to the United Nations plan to ensure Safety of journalists, and creating a space for communication between the High Commissioner and journalists in some countries such as Iran and Afghanistan.
