Maat Foundation’s comment on the report of the Special Rapporteur concerned with the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the context of combating terrorism, in which she condemned the German government’s failure to return its citizens stranded in camps and prisons in inhumane conditions, against the backdrop of their alleged connection to terrorist groups, in addition to the dismissal of the German authorities. Children and infants from their mothers who were issued with arrest warrants upon their return from conflict areas to Germany.
