The first training component
Conceptual framework for human rights
Knowledge objective: To raise the trainees' awareness of human rights concepts, classifications and characteristics.
Skill goal: enable participants to explore violations.
The second training component
Human Rights Protection Tools “Instruments and Conventions”

Familiarizing participants with the recommendations made to Egypt and Egypt's position on them
Skill Objective: Enable participants to play the role of the Human Rights Council
Fifth training component
The role of civil society organizations in the universal periodic review mechanism
Knowledge objective: To raise participants' awareness of the procedures for the participation of civil society organizations in the UPR mechanism
Skill goal: Enable participants to acquire skills. Brief statements to be submitted to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights
Sixth training component
Civil society and strengthening community monitoring of the results of the UPR
Knowledge objective: To raise participants' awareness of awareness-raising tools and to enhance community monitoring of review results
Skill goal: Enable participants to develop a specific action plan for community awareness of the UPR
The seventh training component
Conceptual framework for public policy
Knowledge objective: To increase participants' knowledge of the concept and dimensions of public policies and their analysis
Skill goal: enable participants to distinguish between policy analysis and political analysis

Policy papers and audience
Knowledge objective: Increase participants' knowledge of policy papers, objectives, and audiences

Monitoring, documentation and reporting of the human rights situation
Knowledge objective: to increase participants' knowledge of the rules governing monitoring, documentation and reporting processes
Skill goal: Enable participants to prepare reports to monitor human rights situations related to the work of their organizations
