The joint mission of the International Alliance for Peace and Development organized a peaceful stand in front of the Human Rights Council in Geneva under the slogan "Unite for Peace". The stand included an exhibition of images that express the damage caused by the terrorist operations that occurred in recent years, which struck many countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East region. .

The stand, which was held on July 2, 2019, witnessed a massive turnout of various nationalities, as they expressed their support for peace in the world and wrote some anti-terrorism phrases. The participants also called on the United Nations to hold the state that supports terrorism to account and to prevent it from providing funding, safe havens and media platforms to terrorists. They also called on all countries of the world to fulfill their obligations to combat terrorism.
The participants also stressed the importance of the role of youth and women, and civil society organizations in spreading a culture of peace among citizens and combating terrorism. They agreed to promote joint action worldwide, and it was decided to establish “Peace Makers and Development Forum“.
Ayman Akil indicated that the forum seeks to work through national, regional and international mechanisms to mobilize and organize youth efforts and build their capabilities, so that they can have dialogue among themselves, as well as with policy makers and policymakers across the world in order to contribute to building peace, stopping violence, extremism and terrorism and preventing hate speech and discrimination. Racism, restoring the values of respect for human rights and helping people and governments realize and achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
