Maat for juridical and constitutional studies Established in the governorate of Cairo , the second peace day in the Youth Center Alqbabat - Atfaih – as a number of 73 member of the families of prisoners and detainees and natural families , which varied between children and adults. The peace days came within the activities of societal peace project which carried out by the Center in cooperation with the United States Agency for Development ( USAID ), which aims to reintegrate and rehabilitate the families of prisoners and detainees in the community and to Consolidate the culture of religious tolerance and respect for the law and renounce violence . The day started 9 am in welcoming the families of prisoners and detainees and in the presence of natural families, a psychologist, social, legal and natural leadership to solve the problems, psychological, social, legal and psychological counseling needed by the families of prisoners and detainees as well as representatives of a number of members of the Council and Board of Directors of the local youth center Alqbabat interested in social work with these families. The activities varied in the peace day , as the attendants divided into two groups a group of adult and another one was for children each one had its own agenda . A group of adult began a discussion of a working paper on the role of the civil association in serving of the families of prisoners and detainees , As well as a working paper on the rights of prisoners and detainees and their families , Followed by a working paper on how to control the rebellion and delinquency of children in difficult circumstances, and including, of course, prison or detention of one of the parents. The discussions talked about the concept of peace and acceptance of others and how they can be achieved between the members of the community despite the different views and affiliations and the social worker to listen to the problems of the families . All of the members of the local council - Alqbabat – assured that the village needs the efforts of the civil association who have only heard of them, where they are subjected to the oppression of the police and falsifying their cases without guilt and The lack of knowledge of any legal action due to the limited financial capacity, as well as lack of awareness of the families of prisoners and detainees to act in such cases and the problem of education and population , They emphasized the societal peace project is welcomed to re-visit again by Maat Center for constitutional Studies and human rights and certificates of appreciation were presented from the Department of Youth Center Alqbabat - Atfaih - of the administrative system . A group of families participated in the day, whether natural or suffer from the problem of detention or imprisonment of a family member. At the end of the day gifts were distributed to children and memorial pictures taken , harmony and integration, which aimed to the societal peace project .
