The training aims to provide support to women’s organizations, journalists and program developers interested in promoting and protecting women’s rights in order to raise their awareness of the international advocacy tools that civil society organizations working in the field of women’s rights can use, and for journalists and media professionals to play their role in forming public opinion and awareness of women’s rights and effective coverage of relevant local and international activities relevance.

The training will cover:

• How to cooperate with the Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW Committee)

• How to cooperate with the Special Rapporteur on the Elimination of Violence against Women

• How to cooperate with the Human Rights Council and the Universal Periodic Review to advocate for women's rights

The last date to apply is April 30, 2022.
