During the panel discussion Maat organized on "Impact of Arms Transfers to Israeli Occupation Forces on Children Rights in Gaza", various speakers shared their statements. The panel discussion organized by Maat highlighted the severe breaches of international humanitarian law that children face due to weapons and military equipment transfer to Israeli occupation forces. It emphasized the urgent need to halt the supply of weapons to these occupying forces and to uphold the principles and regulations of international humanitarian law, which prohibit providing weapons to countries involved in violations against international humanitarian law. This event took place on the sideline of Human Rights Council fifty-fifth session and was part of Maat Human Rights Initiative: "Trade of Death: Towards Effective Implementation of Arms Trade Treaty Agreement."
