It obtained 160 votes out of 193 votes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The UN Security Council resolution to lift the sanctions imposed on Eritrea, including the arms and travel embargo, freezing of assets and specific sanctions that the Council had imposed in previous resolutions. The Council announced the termination of the mandate of the Monitoring Group on Eritrea as of mid-December 2018.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\"><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A written intervention on human rights in Eritrea submitted to: Human Rights Council, 40th session.
