The joint local international mission continued its follow-up of the run-off round with the elections of the first phase of the Egyptian Parliament, within the target range of the mission's work of 70 electoral districts in 7 governorates, and in this statement the mission monitors the most important features that were laid down during the time period from eleven in the morning until four Half an era.<\/p>\n
The most prominent features were the use of a large number of candidates for various means of transportation to mobilize voters from different regions within the electoral districts, as part of a process of crowding for a vote that appears to be directed, and there are doubts that this type of crowd is often associated with the provision of electoral bribes. The mission also monitored, during the past hours, evidence of some cases of electoral bribes (financial or in kind) to the voters with the aim of influencing their will and pushing them to choose a specific candidate, in addition to testimonies from voters of the involvement of a charitable organization in supporting a particular candidate, and among the most prominent facts that have been monitored are the following: -<\/p>\n

In contrast to the cases of influencing the will of the voters by some candidates affiliated with different political currents and independent candidates, the mission\u2019s followers saw an advanced degree of good organization inside the polling stations, as well as the ease and flow of insurance procedures outside them, and clear neutrality from the concerned agencies during the past hours, and the availability of equipment. The required logistics, and with limited exceptions, a number of minor violations were detected, the most prominent of which were:<\/p>\n

The past hours were free of any violent incidents or threats to the safety of the voting process due to efficient security measures, and in a few exceptions, two incidents of fights and clashes between supporters of some candidates were reported as follows: -<\/p>\n
1- Sohag \/ Juhayna \/ Al-Jihad Primary School \/ a quarrel between supporters of candidate Khaled Saleh and candidate Maher Salam, and the police were called to break up the fight and wound some of the supporters<\/p>\n

2- Al-Buhaira Governorate \/ Rasheed District \/ A verbal altercation occurred between the supporters of candidate Muhammad Abbas and candidate Sameh Shawer.<\/p>\n
