The Parliamentary Elections Observatory of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights continues to monitor the electoral climate for the second phase of the parliamentary elections. In this context, Ayman Aqil, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights stated that the most prominent violations were embodied in the apparent widespread use of children in the electoral advertisements for the candidates. It is rejected according to international human rights conventions. Aqeel also stated that some candidates use the general unions to promote their electoral propaganda, taking advantage of their membership in the union\u2019s board of directors.<\/p>\n
