Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights' team concluded its participation in the international training in Bușteni, Romania, within the second phase of the “FemRise project” funded by the European Union, and in partnership with five international organizations from Portugal, Romania, Tunisia, Lebanon and Jordan.

Over the course of the training days, Maat team contributed to transferring experiences from the Arab context, and exchanging visions with the participants about the cultural challenges facing women’s issues in the region. The team also received practical training on “newspaper theater” tools, as an interactive tool to criticize prevailing societal narratives and reshape them in a way that enhances equality.
